MHT CET [Maharashtra Common Entrance Test] is a common state level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra every year. It offers admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy courses such as B.Tech/ B.E, and B.Pharmacy offered at colleges in Maharashtra. According to MHT CET Exam Pattern 2021, the exam will be held as a three-hour computer-based test. MHT CET 2021 will have three question papers- Paper 1 (Mathematics), Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry) and Paper 3 (Biology) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Each paper will carry 100 marks each with no negative marking. 2 marks will be awarded for every correct answer in mathematics paper and 1 mark in other papers. Approximately, 20% weightage is given to class 11th curriculum and 80% weightage to class 12th curriculum while setting the question paper.

Paper1 - Mathematics : 50 questions [ 10-11th and 40-12th class], Total marks- 100
paper2- Physics(50) and Chemistry(50)-, Total Marks- 100
Paper3- Biology(100) - Total marks - 100
Time Duration - 180 mins
